if you carry many passengers in your truck you can put a cheap cover on it and then put it in the bed, lol

Not in PA he couldn't. They'd drag him into jail for something like that. There state gov is almost as bad as cali.
I just tossed mine in the dumpster.

Solution one. Put the seat on the front porch, if there's room between the old sofa and recliner.

Solution two. Set it next to the curb with a for sale for $20 sign. It should disappear overnight, unless you live in a real good neighborhood.

The bench in my truck was redone not long before I got it and it is real comfy. It's my new "couch" for the garage.

Is there a little metal piece about 2 or 3 inches long on the drivers' side that keeps the seat locked in that position? So it doesn't slide forward or backward.
Mine is broke and I would like to find another one.
My description is terrible. Let me know if you know what I'm talking about.

Hide It

With big stuff like that, I just dismantle it/cut it up and throw it away a little bit at a time. Otherwise it's big bucks as a whole.
Strip the covering/padding and get out the sawzall.

Yeah, I tried to throw mine away. the regular trash pick up would not take it. the local dump is $83 per 4x8 pickup bed!! It is a major rip offf, and the guy that helps you unload it ends up putting most of it on his trailer

I'm with the other guys that mentioned to put it on the front porch. Right next to your beer fridge.

Find a self service car wash, they normally have decent size dumpsters. If you wash your truck first then you are cleanining out the interior when you roll by the dumpster.

I had thrown out an old torn up chair in my apartment dumpster and then later that day when i went to toss out my trash someone had taken the chair. That chair wasnt is much worse shape than that seat so dont be suprised if some dumpster digger doesnt use it as a couch or something. You know what they say ..... one mans trash is another mans treasure.
