I`m not a nova expert but it seems high to me if there is no drive train an it needs paint all. Probably needs some body work too since it`s 42yrs old. Now if it was a runner or had disc brakes and a good rearend and just needed a drivetrain, you might get about $3,500. I know a guy who has a 64 with a sbc/th350 and discbrakes, all new interier and all bodywork done and he is asking $5k and all it needs is paint.
You never know, you might get what your asking to the right guy.

Actually I thought it was kinda high myself but that's the price he set so there it is! He had the original motor/trans too but sold them when he was planning a V8 swap. Now, like all of us, he just doesn't have the time to do what he wanted to do with it.
