fuel gauge vs fuel gauge feed
What is the differences between the fuel gauge connector and the fuel gauge feed connector on the gauge cluster? and how do they connect? I know that the 20Tan wire connects to the fuse box under fuel gauge and the other end goes to the sending unit along with a ground.
please help Thanks |

The tan wire from the tank unit plugs into the fuse panel. From the fuse panel the wire going to the fuel gauge is part of the harness and it terminates in the main dash cluster plug. The cluster plugs into the gauge housing and makes contact with the printed circuit which is connected to the gauge.
The gauge housing gets its ground through the cluster plug and or a separate ground wire. The gas tank is grounded to the body. Jim |
