Just got a new engine harness from Mother Truckers for my 70 with manual and HEI.Does anyone know what colors go where and it seems to have two small wires for the starter yellow and purple but no bigger wire for the battery?any ideas?

I've never had a painless or any new wiring gig but from my experience most should have a seperate battery cable you buy that runs straight from the battery to the starter motor. The yellow and the purple should screw on the same post at the right side of the solenoid. Somebody else throw there input in

The purple wire is the ignition wire that goes to the S terminal on the starter, the yellow wire goes to the other small post on the solenoid it powers the + for the coil.......
