Help me with clutch size?
So, I'm about to be installing a new clutch hopefully this week. I'm going to go with the centerforce, dual friction. However, I was wondering if anyone knows what size I should order...my options are 12" or 11".
I know my engine is a car 350 and I know the tranny is a car 4-speed. What size do you think it takes? I'm guessing that it would be an 11" and the 12" are for truck engines??? Anyone know what size I should be getting?

so is it basically the size does not have to be exact, as long as it is not bigger than the fly wheel? And the bigger the clutch the more the friction?

A 14" dia flywheel will accept either an 11 or 12 " clutch. with a stocker , for heavy hauling, i would go 12"......hyperformance, 11" is the ticket. centerforce clutches are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for i love the centerforce dual friction setup my longhorn is running......69L
