Lightbulb Factory stainless steel headers PRICE REDUCED

These are factory 1986 stainless steel headers/manifolds used on ¾ ton 350 4-speed trucks. These trucks did not have the catalytic converters and had factory duals. They accept a 2.5-inch head pipe and have the thick flange with tube stand off that will allow the use of the factory brackets used with the cast iron manifolds. I spent a lot of time fixing these up to use on my 69 but they hit the dam frame mount that the motor mount attaches to. These are similar to the GM headers used on the 85 and up Corvettes. Perfect for lowered trucks. See pics for details $75.00

That is pretty cool I had heard of using those but could not remember the yr truck to get them.

I wonder if those would fit my 72 or 71 both 4x4's

I'm in North West Austin off 183 and Spicewood Springs Road

Dont think they will fit 71-72 4x4. I have my V8 in 6 cly position which I think is the same as the 4x4 V8 position.

Frank did you have factory AC on the 86, I know that headers on a 350 require modifications to the AC braket, do these require the same modification? And were their air ports on the manifolds, I know you said it was a non cat version, but I'm looking at the shiney spots at where the header connects to the head and it appears to be welded over air ports.
I ask since my 86 does have cats and i'm installing a 350 and I would love headers, but I need the air ports.

Thanks

Tom

Tom,

I cut a round piece of steel for each port and welded them closed. Then ground it flat. If you had to you could drill and tap again. They should work with the stock 86 AC brakets.

I dont know. I've only seen them on 3/4 ton 2 wheel drives. I'm not well versed in the 73-86 Trucks.
