Fourwheeler Magazine's Top Truck Challenge
last spring my buddy Tim's truck was chosen as an alternate for Fourwheeler Magazine's Real Truck Club Challenge. by a twist of fate, one competitor backed out a week before the competition and we were asked to compete, so in mid August we traveled to Badlands Offroad Park in Attica, IN for the competition. we finished 14th out of 20 trucks due mostly in part to a weekend filled with front driveshaft issues. we had a lot of fun in the competition, and feel that despite our 14th place finish we put on a good show.
his truck has been nominated for Top Truck Challenge for 2005, and i was once again asked to act as a crew member/spotter. i figured who better to ask for support than my brothers here on 67-72chevytrucks.com. i've been here going on 3 years, and cant think of a better group of people to be associated with. if you could throw a few votes in our direction to help our chances at getting to attend this event, it would be greatly appreciated. he's competitor #29 in this months issue of Fourwheeler Magazine |

I plan on marking all the chevies, like that m715 also. I think they need to re-examin the name it's Top TRUCK Challenge.

Real Truck Club Challenge was designed as a TTC for real trucks, trucks that are driven on the street, although alot of the trucks that showed werent anywhere near streetable. Tim's truck has become a trailer queen, but only because of the hydro assist steering he added after RTCC. i think it'd be awesome to go and show up a bunch of super high tech buggies with backyard fab and 20 year old technology. right now a doubler is in the works, and i have a set of 39.5" TSLs on beadlocks in my garage that will be going on it very soon. |
