1 yr anniversary
On 2-23-04, me and my son and neighbor drove to Dean's house and picked up my 71 K20. It's come along way, was a 71 GMC and is a 71 Chevy now and soon to be a 70 Chevy(I like the parking lights in the grill).
The cab and bed came from a 70 C20. now: and then: It was fun and my son enjoyed the trip.

Holly mumbo jumbo, I forgot that's what you started with. Congrats on the aniversary. I agree the 69/70 Chevy front end is a better choice. Of course I might be a wee bit prejudice.

........and the fenders came from my wifes truck. Funny, I posted a pic of those about two years ago sitting in my dining room. They were a great conversation piece. Jim, you did a ton of work to that truck in a very short amount of time, I'm really impressed!! I need to get going on the dually!

Got some 4" rear springs in the garage and a no-spin on the way. I also found a pto for, maybe a dump bed.

Looking good!! I remember the truck when I was in middle school. It was a light blue with the chrome slots. I thought it was so cool. Didn't quite look as cool when I found it in a barn many years later. I believe it was originally ordered by the Cincinnat Gas & Electric company and I bought it from the 2nd owner. These trucks never die as Jim put the third body on this chassis. I think the previous owner told me this was the third engine. He had a 302 Z28 engine in if for awhile. I tried to buy the 302 which was still sitting in the barn also but he was a no go.

Wow, amazing pics. I'm a fan of the 71-72 grill...but to each his own. Keep up the strong work!
