Radiator questions
I have been checking websites and parts stores on 4 core radiators, they all list 2 different part numbers, one for 67 to 70 and another for 71-72, the later style seems to be a little more expensive. Does anyone know the difference and is one better than the other?

I think the '71/'72 had heater hose fittings on the radiator...There was only one I ever worked on, all the oters were '70 and older, but that '71 had it and the rad looked to be original.

I bought a 4 core for my 71 and it has no heater connections on it. It does have auto trans hook ups. I can't say for sure that the 71-72 models are better, but I would wonder if it would work with your core support, because they are different between these yrs. Just a thought! Hope this helps.

When i dropped the Big Block in the 79 Blazer,i figured i use the radiator from the suburban with it,when it came time for installation it was too short. so i had to modify some brackets, drill my core support and use the truck upper hold down brackets on the 79 core support, guess i shouldnt of tossed the 79's radiator so fast, now ill jus buy one for a 79 big block 454 ac pickup,so i can use all correct parts.trying to make it look like a factory installation,as you couldnt get a big block in those year 2wd Blazer.but you could in pickup.

One of the shops I called had a 72 style in stock I think I'll stop by today and take a look at it.
