86 interior in 77?
anybody know if its possible to install the interior from my 86 C10 into my 77 K20? the interior of the C10 is almost perfect, and the 77 is a bit worn to say the least. i know the door panels and seat will work for sure, but what about the headliner trim and dash pad? can these be made to work?

yes, they will all work. The later dash pad will work with both the correct bezel (duh) and the earlier one, if you so chose. The carpet is the same, and the headliner and trim will work just fine. Worst case, a few of the screws may not line up, but I am pretty sure they all do. I put trim out of an 85 or so in my 73, and it fit fine.

I'm not sure the '86 door panels will work on '77 doors. Unless the doors have been replaced with later model doors,... they are different.

Jonboy is correct, it will all bolt up. I have some 81+ interior pieces in my 73..such as the newer pad with my 73/74 bezel.

Hey Jeremy. Don't know if 73 and 77 are the same but I put 85 stuff in a rust free 73 cab. The front speakers were different. the wiper switch and the vin plate hole (vin on 73 was tag on cab door) in the 85 dash pad were different. I changed the wire harness and everything. It all worked other than the above stuff.
If the 77 has a single center speaker like the 73, you can get a duel speaker.
