how much difference in height between drum and disk brake front ends what im asking is with stock disk brakes front will it sit lower than the original drum brakes . thanks Kevin

I didn't measure mine, but after the swap it looked really raked. I even added 1 1/2" drop shackles in the rear to get closer to the stock look. Still about 1-1 1/2" higher in the rear. Mine was a 3/4 ton swap. I pulled the parts off of a donor Longhorn which was a 70 someone had obviously done a conversion on so I have no idea what year the parts were from.

73-87 spindles will make a 67-70 C-10 truck sit prox 1" lower. Using 71-72 spindles should not change the height at all, but either way you will need a ton of other 73-87 or 71-72 parts, including the cross link, tie rod ends, and ball joints. Your best bet is aftermarket spindles from a company like Early Classic Enterprises. They will bolt right up to your stock 67 tie rod ends and ball joints, and use 71-72 rotors, calipers, and pads. They even manufacture 6 lug rotors.
