Teflon or Rubber rear main seal?
Which one will last and be a better buy. Can get either for same price at autozone and they are both fel-pro brand

I never used the teflons, always the standard rubber seals. The last few I used felpro #BS11829-1 Offset Double Lip Rubber Seals. Used them on machined and used, cranks without any problems. I also install them staggered or offset (ends not flush to block and cap) though.

Resurrection....
I went to get a new Rear Main Seal, and the guy asked me if I wanted the single or double lip. I chose the double lip. Anyone have experience with one over the other? Also any tips on install? Thanks
