ANYONE- I need factory wiring diagram for a diesel tach

.Just trying to add to my info and maybe forward to Jeff's site.

I have a good diesel tach dash here and i want to get a wire pigtail made up for it . my POS haynes manual isn't much help. It would have to come out of a factory manual from the 80's , thanx , DAVE

pics?? the front just goes to 4K, the back is the same wire plug as all of them. I know where the Grd. & 12V wires go ,I just need to know where the feed wire goes , I know the feed picks up from one of three places ,but I need a factory wiring diagram to get the truth. DAVE

Dave;

I going to make scans of an 81 wiring diagram for another member. Do you what a copy of the wiring diagram?

If I may chime in I`d love to have a copy of that if its not to much trouble.
Thanks in advance.

Since GM never offered a tach dash in the 82-87 6.2L diesel pickup line, the wiring diagram would have to come from a C-60 type of truck, where the tach was originally used.

there you go. I knew Casey would smell heating fuel and find his way here :-) .

Doug, thanx for the offer, but from what Casey is saying I guess there won't be any reference in a light truck wiring schematic to diesel tach hook ups.(look just in case please.) I guess I need to ask for a C60, c6000 type truck wiring. I know the cluster is from the 80's because of the font style. DAVE
