Need To Know Wheelbase
Can Anyone Tell Me What The Wheelbase Of A Longbed 67-72 Truck Is, Then What A 67-72 Suburban Is? Reason I Need To Know Is I Am Looking At Taking A Wrecked Sub And Cutting It Down To A Crew Cab 3 Door, But I May Want To Stretch The Frame So I Can Put A Short Bed On, But Need To Know What Would Be Good Donor Material, Truck Frame Likely Since They Are Easy To Come By, Would Prefer To Find A Usable 3/4 Ton 4x4 Frame And Transfer. Anybody In Or Around Kansas Got One Or Want To Trade Some Parts For One? Have A Rebuildable 454 And 350, Maybe Even Some Truck Parts.

what is different? any reason i could not take a chunk out of a 3/4 ton truck frame and add length to the burb frame?? surely there is a straight section of both that will match?
