After reviewing this board and the quality info that the members provide, I'm convinced this is what I want.

I'm looking for a 1969-72 blazer project in or near TX. Let me know what you may have.

ie...2wd or 4wd...etc

Nothing specific besides being fairly basic and cheap. It can be 2wd or 4wd, as long as there's a rolling chasis with the tub I might be interesetd, just seeing what's out there.

2wd Blazers are a lot more $ than the 4wd. What are your plans? budget? What is cheap to you, may be expensive to me.

Cheap to me, in this case, is less than 1K. Which means I'm not expecting very much besides just a starting point. Once I find a base then I'll decide for sure what to do from there. I've been building the trucks for others for a while and now I want to do a blazer for myself.

I have a 72 CST that came from texas loaded with options I have 11k in it will take 7500.00. Needs rockers and has original paint. There is a soft top and hardtop. Cost me 900.00 to ship it from Leander two yeaars ago. Lots of pictures of it on this board. moodyholler

Not saying drive to Maine but you wouldn't want to pass up "the one" only because it's a little farther than what seems attainable.

I'm going to be selling my project, 72 CST, right now its been completely blasted and sealed. Nothing has been done to the body yet, it needs some body work, rust in bedfloor, rockers some small rust in windshield frame. Motor has been rebuilt, so has the tranny, 2 inch lift kit on it. Its completely torn down body wise, undercarraige is still intact, except motor is out of it right now. I'm going to be asking $2250 for it. I'm going to start a thread about it hopefully tonight. Here are pics of it before sandblasted. Thanks Randy
