Since I ain't got nothing to do tonight........another wasteful post by alex

Here is something I made tonight...........the old piece is bent out of shape cause I twisted the hell out of it ripping it out. Its the piece that sit behind the back door pillar to the give the fender support.

Anyone know what bolt size that is? it;s th elittle hole on the bottom. i couldn't find the bolt and I'm pretty sure it's rusted enough that it won't give a good enough thread to go play where's waldo in the bolt section at the hardware store.if not I'll make a good guess tomorrow morning.

I couldn't tell you the bolt size for sure but most of the body/sheet metal bolts are 1/2".
Good job on fabbed panel.
Did you shrink that curved lip or just angle cut it?

I just cut the lip so when i bent it, it would not colapse on itself. the stock piece itself has a cut in it to allow for the medal to fold.

Looking good alex glad to see some progress... I am slowly getting the parts together for my blazer.... Lift soon and new metal....
