factory mirrors

This isn't the best picture of them, can get some better ones later. These are listed on my option tag, so I am guessing these are the factory west coast mirrors that it came with as there are no other mirror holes.

I think you're talking about these. (1st pic) The smaller ones are called jr west coast mirrors. (2nd pic)

I've been looking for some like the ones on that yellow truck too. My truck originally had those but they were painted white. When I got the truck they had been replaced with the stainless tripod mirrors, so I took those off and put these on it that I bought from djracer. If I ever find one of the correct sets I'd trade someone for mine.

A bit off the topic but, did you know Adams Extract started in Beeville over 100 years ago?

If you want something similar to these, try to find a C-40to70 series (67-72) in a junkyard. Sometimes they are stainless and will look like new if buffed up. I reused my brackets after blasting and put on new mirror heads ($10 bucks each)

Here is a better pic of one. They may be too big for you but they work great if your bed or trailer is 8' wide.

You`re looking for West Coast Jr.mirrors.JC Whitneys not the same.Hard to find clean bright originals(67-70).You could get white ones(easier find)and get them chromed.I did this on a`70 CustomCamper/30 I had(full-size West Coasts).

A little hijack here, but the frame and 292 engine from under that very truck is now under my 72 dually. I had to go to Kansas to get it. I stripped the frame bare and put later model suspension and brakes on it.

Checker/Schucks/Kragen sells a Jr Westcoast mirror, polished stainless or chrome. I believe the price is about $25.00-$28.00.
I'd like to see a picture of the ones you have Cheyenne, I live just west of Portland

Thats about the only option on my glove box, the Jr west coast mirrors. PO took 'em off and filled the holes (you can see where they were filled on the top of the door) and replaced them with only one tripod on the driver's side. I like the large viewing area, but think the '70 sport mirrors would look better on the truck.

I am only saying I think the '70's sport would look better on MY truck . . . .

I did not mean to imply I thought we should all have the same mirrors . . .

Robert1970C20rstbukt- I have a pair of mirrors in my garage identical to the ones in this pic that you posted, they're in excellent condition, on the back they say "Fomoco", I removed them from a 69 Ford F-150.
