A horrible couple of weeks...glad i am alive!

Afew weeks ago i started having chest pains...Knowing I had previously had a spontaneous nimothorax (a partly collapsed lung). I went to the hospital. I had my second surgery to repair it on the opposite lung this time...Being happy to be alive I headed back to school....

On my second day back i got in a car accident at the school...yeah... I came around a turn in the back driveway to my school and another kid came around the corner at the same time. He was cutting the corner and i had no chance to stop. The front left of my 94 Ranger is demolised... Insurance is still workin on it because his policy was brand new after his last insurance company dropped him...On the positive side everyone is fine.

Ignoring the fact that bad things come in 3's...I went snowboarding...Fortunately i took a friend who is apperently about as lucky as me...He ended up dislocating his shoulder and i escape unharmed...

Anyway...I am very happy to be able to get back to my truck and the message board..I will try to post some updated pics soon..

Hope everyone is having better luck than me!

Jake

You survived snowboarding...I'd say your damn lucky! I envy your snow...this year has been a no go for snow at the local mountain. I saw a pic...nothing but dirt, global warming is messing up my shredding!

If that's what friends are for, I don't want to be your friend!
I can injure myself well enough on my own.

Is there a club for guys like us?
