whats is engine stamp DTW ?
i cant find DTW anywhere, intake manifold says 1977 via the date casting code, but that maye not be accurate, but the intake is painted that 70s blue, so.,
is in 84 Z28, so.... VIN number does not match car number, IE i have not a numbers matching camaro, should have figured, its an 84, thats pretty damned old for a type of car that gets railed all the time thanks for anything ------------------ Randy- Lincoln, IL r68c30@hotmail.com 71 C-10, trying to assemble....sigh.. parting out 5.0LTPI '81 cutlass supreme brougham *Paint is overrated © RSS Enterprises 2000 |

No listing for DTW, but DTR, DTS, DTU, DTX, DTY, and DTZ are all '79 305s - some 2bbl, and some 4bbl.

From what i have in my books there is anything. But I did find TDW and that is a 1980 350 out of a C10, K10, C20, or K20. Hope that helps.

I think I checked my block casting number and found that mine was a 305.

lol lookn! true, true, it is same i believe, i cant see casting numbers on mine, i wish though,, heh i assume its 350, its either 78 or 79 I know, i replaced the ESC style HEI distributor today with an older one that has vacuum advance and now the check engine light is on but hey the car gots alot of uhmph even more so now next is to swap on older non electronically controlled carb and then i can unplug the computer and weeeeeee ! headers, duals, splits, etc will follow. later on a 350 engine wil go in and then hopefully a nice new summit 700r4 in place of the crappy 84 one. or i may do all that to one i dont have to repaint and such, hmm
of course all i have to do is glance at torsioal dampner and see if its 7" or 8", hmmmm... duh for me, im afraid to look now,,,, ------------------ Randy- Lincoln, IL r68c30@hotmail.com 71 C-10, trying to assemble....sigh.. parting out 5.0LTPI '81 cutlass supreme brougham *Paint is overrated © RSS Enterprises 2000 |
