Rocker Mod

I am thinking about modifying the bottom of the rockers on my truck and wondering if anyone has done this. I am thinking about having the vertical piece at the very bottom of the rockers cut off and welding the rocker back together to give it a cleaner look. It would just roll under instead of rolling under then going straight down. Comments, thoughts?

I have seen it done, my hole cab is smooth out, but I left my pinch weld in. I just dont think its that noticible. If you remove it from the rocker then you have to do the same to the corners. I think removing gives the impression is just packed with bondo to hide the rust. IMO
