What are the normal shift speeds for TH-350??

I was wondering what the usual shift points are for a Th-350?? I hooked up the kick down cable this weekend. But the dog leg is bent funny so it gets caught in the housing. I couldn't bend the leg statight, tranny was to HOT!!! Any ideas how to straighten out the connector in the tranny? Under full throttle the tranny shifts at like 20ish and about 40. It will kickdown to 2nd about 25-30ish. It manually kicks down just fine. First gear is real winney, it hums. It this normal? What I am talking about sounds like gear whine and it's just in first, esp noticable when downshifting and decelerating. Thanks a lot guys!

Pulled the pan last night and was trying to bend the kickdown wire that's in the tranny and it broke so I need a new one of these. Does anyone have one of these, is this an autoparts store thing or a dealership thing??

My truck shifts at around the same speeds, unless I floor it from a stop. As for the winey sound, can't help you there I don't really hear anything but then again i always got my music loud and the mufflers don't help either.

It shouldn't wine like you say, Its usually the front pump going out or starting to go out.
