My Christmas in June!

Just thought I would share with all of you what I have waiting when I get back to the states in June.

These plus a frame are the beginnings of my show truck.

Thanx to all the members that have been great to deal with in buying my parts.

Very cool, looks like you have a very solid foundation to start with.
Have you found a place here yet?

Greasemonkey,

I am buying a house on Cove Ave. Between 9 mile and I-10 just west of 29. It has a 30'x40' detached garage, which is heated and air conditioned. Should be a good place to work on my trucks and hang out with other car nuts.

Striker,

I got the cab from MIDSTATE__67-72. It is from New Mexico and the rocker and cab corners are perfect. I am just going to have to do a lot of stripping on another cab to get little things, like wiper linkage, door catches, etc. I was estatic when I saw it.

Lots of work to do, easier to start from the ground up though.

looks like a very solid starting piont. you will have to take pics as you progress.
one small question. is that ramp to the garage going to hold up or do you plan on putting in a driveway?

68C15,

I am planning on putting in a concrete driveway. I don't close on the house til April 30 and don't move in until Jun, when I get back from overseas.

The engine and trans are at the salvage yard where I bought it and that is where the pic was taken.
