Arrow looking for rear end in mo.

Looking to change gears in 10 bolt 8 lug Rear End. I believe its a 5:11 or 5:14 Im in Bolivar near Springfield Mo...

What to what? would you take a 14FF or corporate? Location helps too. Give as much info as you can. It helps alot.

I have a complete Dana 60, 4.10 gears and posi, 2wd leaf spring.
$300.
Where in MO are you?
I could probably get it to Independence for some gas money.

Will a dana 60 take the place of eaton 10 bolt 8 lug coil spring?

From 514 to a 373 or 411..What is a 14FF? or corporate? Im in Spfld, Mo.

I just bought a 1972 3/4 ton truck nice but at about 55 mph Im at red line I think the rear end is about a 5 something im not sure im trying to find out the difference between a eaton rear end and I believe is a ho52 it is 10 bolt 8 lug ive seen acouple of pictures but am not for sure, I want to gear it for more highway speeds is there any thing else i can switch to without much work also have some parts that i have aquired with the truck, wing glass with frame, passenger side fender, door glass,window regulators, hood but has dint on front not bad but could probobly be fixed springfield mo.

Well if it has a round removable cover and drop out center section, then it is a corperate axle, also refered to as the eaton. 4.10 is the best you can shoot for. It was replaced in1973 by the 14 bolt full floater.

1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

Is this also known as a pumkin this is new to me just got the truck, will a 73 full floater replace this?

yep, and yes a dana 60 will replace it. I have a dana60 in my 70 and the eaton in my 71, both 3/4 tons. Do you need leafs rear or coil springs and 2wd or 4wd? The leaf springs spacing is different between 2wd and 4wd, 42" v. 40". The one ton rears are also 40". For a 14bolt full floater from a 73 and up, look for a 1 ton rear as the spring spacing is 40.5' or a 3/4 ton version wich will be 42.5".

it is a coil spring and 2wd

also willl i need to go from a two piece drive shaft with carrier bearing to a regular driive shaft?
