can I use blocks to lower the rear of my 72?
Would I be able to use blocks to lower the rear of my coil spring 3/4 ton 3 or 4 inches?

2 inches is the most you want to go with blocks. Any more, the trailing arms will be WAY low.

I'm not sure I understand that. If I use blocks, wouldn't my trailing arms be in the same place, and my axle raised? I am concerned about the axle hitting on the frame. as well as the angle of the driveshaft.

raising the axle will make the arms closer to the ground

Ahhh,
Lower to the ground, in comparison to lower from the frame. Gotcha. Thanks it makes sense now.
