question about wood beds...
Okay, I was looking through LMC trucks the other day, and I came across something I need - the L beam that connects the wood to the bedsides. they came welded in from the factory, but since this is going to be a show truck, I had thought about just bolting them on with some chrome acorn nuts...has anyone ever seen this done, and what does it look like?

Mar K Wood Products
I would contact them. I looked through their catalog and they had L shaped material just for that reason. I will be contacting them to finish up my wood bed soon. Wootdog

yeah, those are the pieces I was talking about. Thye don't sell LWB fleetside bedsides, but they do sell those pieces. Right under it, they said the originals are tack welded on, but you can drill holes and bolt them on as well, and I'd never seen them bolted on...
