Help with motor stuff
I Just have a couple of questions about the motor and trans in my truck. I'd like to post this where it belongs but I'm kinda tryin to keep this within the 67-72 year base.
So anyway I was reading on a site today that there are 3or4 different types of 350cid motors that went into our year trucks. Is this true and how can I possibly know which one I may have? It's a 71 3/4ton 4x4. And It's a four speed. Speaking of 4 speeds, if I were to do a swap what kind of options do I have. Is a Saginaw 4 speed my best option. I was also wondering if anybody could list a few trannys that would bolt up in place of my granny tranny. I'm kinda hoping to start doing some research on the different kinds that I COULD use. Again I really hope ya'll can help me out here guys.
