Hope they don't belong to a board member because they don't look right to me. I think they are 73 & up style with small block clamshells. Anybody else???

Ditto

These are not the earlier style mount. The earlier years had a hole through them for one bolt to go into the mount that is held onto the block with 3 bolts.

I must be missing something. They look right to me. They don't have the engine cup attached, but the main mounts seem right. I would have to pull a set or check some pics to be sure.
Here's a 72 set of mine. Are they different?

They are a board members! Frank is right, these are correct for 72 only big block trucks. I think 70rs/ss is thinking about 67-71 style mounts.

Hey guys,
I do not know much about BB mounts but if you look closely at "Pickmup's" mounts they are much different than "Midstate's" mounts. Also he say's that there was not a motor in the truck when he pulled the mounts so he is going by the glove box sticker. Anyone else have some input?

I say 73 & up. On the 73 & up, the holes are alot farther apart on top where it bolts to the frame. The 73 & up also have 2 "ribs" on top, and the '72 style only has one.

motor mounts

pulled the plug on the auction till these are figured out..certainly not out to misrepresent parts...parted the truck out myself and know that it was 402 truck and that the frame matched....these dont look like pickmups though as someone pointed out....if anyone knows more let me know...i remember that the truck was the latest built 72 that i have had (6/72) but dont know if that had anything to do with it or not

As I first posted correctly those on Ebay are not 72. I bought a 72 set from Frank that was entirely correct. CST is correct to note the top ribbing is different on the ones on Ebay. The picture from Frank is correct for 72.

They are 73-up BB mounts, but they will work just the same in a 67-72 truck. I had a pair and mounted them in my frame and compared all measurements to the 72 mounts I had that came in the frame. They are the exact same. The 73 mounts go cheaper and are easier to come by. If you don't want to spend $100 on BB mounts, those are the way to go. I sold mine blasted and powder coated for $50. The only difference is that the 73 mounts have two humps on the top and the 72 have one. You will have to drill one extra hole in the top frame rail because the 73 mounts are wider (better?).
