What seats fit?
I was about to order a new cover for my seat (about to go with houndstooth) then though about it and decided that the seat I got isn't all that great. I want a whole new seat. What have you all put in your trucks? I was thinking about a Dodge truck seat (late 90's) because of the console and the shoulder belts built into the seat but they won't fit very well . I want a console that folds up so I can fit some one in the middle. Any ideas? I think it was 72lwb that had a Grand Prix seat in there??

I've heard the bucket seats from a lumina APV or a Pontiac Transport work well, and I hope so......I went and bought a lumina van just for the seats!!!!!!.......I'll post pics when it's done.

If you can find some 73-? buckets seats out of a truck or a blazer, they are easy to adapt to 67-72 brackets to fit in a truck. And even tho they where not stock all the parts venders have houndstooth covers that will fit them. when you get thru they will look somthing like this.

I have 81 Z28 buckets mounted on 2 sets of 71/72 bench seat floor brackets.

I modified the adjuster arm so it doesn't stick out so far. Older brackets give the wrong angle to the seat. 71/72 brackets worked perfect. I can get some other pics if ya want.
