converting to 14FF
i may be getting a deal on a 14bFF and was just wondering what i would have to change other than the spring perches (seller will be putting them where i need them). any help would be greatly appreciated, i want to know what i am getting into before i buy it. thanks.

besides perches if you are putting it under a half ton you will probably need a conversion joint , if it is the outside clip style the precision u joint part number you will need is 348 , besides that youll need bigger ubolts , i use 5/8x 3 3/8" X however long you need them

get a 3/4 ton FF, and you wont need to move the perches at all.

actually i think that it is a 3/4. on another board i visit a guy was asking for a 3/4 14 and someone said that they had two, so i am trying to get one since it is local. im not worried about the perches. just the ujoint and the ubolts and anything else that may need to be changed. thanks for the responses...is there anything else.
oh yeah, about how much am i looking at for a conversion joint. and is this something i can do without a shop and air tools???
