cabcorners
This week I'm starting on the cabcorners.
Don't need the complete patchpanel, (just below the side moldings) I have to cut the bad stuff away. Do I have to take out the gastank, before I start cutting, or can I leave it in? Don't have any work in the cab itself. Anyone? Thanks, Joe.

Joe take the bomb out of truck before starting. I say bomb because if there is a accident the gas tank will level your shop.

Good point from GMC Paul. You will remember having to take the gas tank out as a 'hassle'... but at least you'll get to remember it. Gasoline is no fun, especially when it is on fire!

Very true but also, your going to end up doing much better work with that out of the way.
Be sure to put in a new filler grommet for that nice new look.

In my 84 when I did the cab corners I started a fire in my cab... good thing it wasn't the 72 ! No damage done though I got the fire out fast enough thanks to the alertness of a friend!
