hei wiring please help
putting hei out of a 86 blazer. I know u run a hot wire from the battery side to the fuse box but what about the four pin plug. do u have to connect any of them to anything . thanks

four pin plug wired to bottem of distibutor? you know where the battery terminal is on the cap, well that plugs in behind that, close to the cap

blue 71 the wires your talking about ? i have no place to plug them on my 67 gmc . well this set up work for me? thanks for all your help

The 86 distributer you are trying to use was made to work with a computer, you need to find a distributer out of an 75 to 82 chevy v-8 with vaccume advance.

If you absolutly have to use that distributor you can connect the black and brown wire together, This will bypass the EST(Electronic Spark Timing) circuit and allow you to time it as usual.
Or you can replace the ignition module with a standard 4 pin and just remove the old 4 wire harness from the housing (put silicon in its place though) |

didnt know about the computer thing, ive never seen one from a vehicle with a computer
