Is it worth it?
Possibility of picking up a rolling shell for about 200 bucks. everything is there except the motor and trans, is it worth it? im looking to strip down as much off this truck as possiblle, including the full box, fenders, and many other small odds and ends. would it be worth going through the trouble of finding a place to keep it. and how hard would it be to get rid of a chassis, either selling or giving away? any input is necessary. pictures are attached.

Yes well worth it, look at the tailgate, its worth what your paying for it. Scrap yards will take whatever is left after your done with it, they pay $75 a ton here for iron.

Drop a good used engine and tranny in it, sell it and maybe make a small profit or keep it, that truck looks pretty good to these old eyes. But you better be quick!

WEll already the response is in my favor. I am looking for a place to park this thing over the summer. College kids don't have many parking spaces. But, the vehicle is a frienn of a friend's; actually that truck is the one i almost bought instead of mine, so I have some time to work out some arrangements. hopefully all goes my way.
