Just ordered my watts link from www.speedwaymotors.com so I was just wondering if anyone is running the same kit or similar? Pics would be great also..... thanks

haha, thats why I was wondering if anyone else has this kit. I think DroppedChoppedPanel has this kit. I tried contacting him but no luck. I will just have to wait till the kit gets here then I will see

from what I've read,it's welded to the dif cover.

no you make a Aframe arounf the dif to the axle tubes. just make shure you have enuff room too take the cover off.

hey, sorry for not responding lately. I just moved to oregon, and have been really busy and online time is hard to come by. yeah, i have the kit from speedway. I did shorten the bars 3" on each, then retap them, but make sure you cut off the right handed thread side, cause finding a left handed thread tap will be fun. They are usually welded to the diff, but they are also made for rear ends such as a f*rd 9", i just built a bracket that follows the contour of my diff cover and mounts with the bottom 2 and top 3 bolts, then has the center pivot through the middle of the bracket. It works out pretty well, 19" of lift and only goes 1/4" from center throughout the whole travel, pretty good IMO. Ill try to get some pics soon, but not sure how soon. My panel is still up in washington, and im down in portland, so trying to get it here to work on its kinda hard... unless someone wants to help me haul it down here

SO yeah, any watts questions, shoot my way as i have internet again and will be on here alot more once again.

k-dawgS10 - THey can be welded to the diff cover, they are meant to be that way on the race cars they were normally designed for, but TP you weld to the axle tubes. I was gonna do that, but i have my exhaust running over my rear axle too so it was cramped.

Heres the watts link I got from speedwaymotors.com. Made the mount for the axle housing. Through a 15" cycle I only had a 1/4" of movement. Not bad for only $70 invested in it

that looks trick man, nice job!!! Looks better than mine, but i have a gastank, and dual exhaust making things tight, looks good though.

mesurement of between the bolt holes on the watts linkage that bolts to the diff? I'm going to attempt to fabricate one myself coz we cant get them here without spending a ****eload of $$$$

I have not done buisness with these guys yet, but barnyradcustoms has a pretty sweet looking kit for $200, check it out.

Just another option.

I've talked to him a few times at local shows and saw them in person and they look great. There's a few guys on other sites running his kit.

check the 60-66 message board, look for "my panel burnt down last night" or something along those lines. Short story is someone burnt my panel down, if you want the long story, read the post. the watts link does work good though, great actually, its worth the 420 dollar savings just for a little less "bling"
