Console for sale
I purchased this console from a local wrecking yard in hopes of using it in my '73, like a fellow board member Edmond did (thanks for the idea Edmond). Sadly, due to the 73+ dash configuration...I was never happy with how it looked and sat in there (as a mock up)...so I am scrapping the idea and will have to figure out something else.
Anyhow, this is similar to Edmonds with the exception that the gauge area is slightly bumped out and not flat (I believe because this console is slightly newer). THere are no cracks anywhere on this, and it even includes the stock VDO gauges and shifter boot...that could possibly be Ebayed to recoup some money. Here is Edmonds thread with his installed to give you an idea how it might look in a 67-72. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=139331 I am asking $40 shipped to your door (lower 48 states), slightly higher if shipped to Canada. PM here please if interested. THanks

Gosh I would like to have that. What did it come out of again? And what three gauges are in it?

What gauges are in there (oil, temp, etc.)? Also, could you measure the distance from the front/top to the shifter boot? I would like to use it for the 205 shifter.
How much if I come down and pick it up? Thanks! Paul

Cory, it has a boost gauge, tach, and volt gauge. The console it from a mid 80's Jetta.
Paul, the distance from the top leading ende of the console to the centerline of the shifter boot is about 10 inches. The overall length of the console is 17 inches if that helps. Thje width is 9" at the top. Being the console is pretty light, I assume it wouldn't cost much more than $10 to ship...so if you want it and want to pick it up, $30 is cool with me. Lets give Cory first crack at it since he asked first, but if he doesn't want it or doesn't reply fairly soon...then I guess it is yours if you ant it. Just trying to be fair.
