22’s!

Any one running 22’s? Any trouble getting them mounted on the back with the finder skirts? I am thinking about running 20 up front and the 22 in back. Any one see this being an issue? I have a 66 c-10 and I am going to be running a 82 rear end

I had a 32" tall tire that was in the back with a 20" wheel. It layed NO problem. If you dont have air, it will be tricky, but can probably be done.

overall tire diameter is going to be the issue, not the rim size. How tall is the tire you have on there now? How tall is the 22" tire that you are going to run? I would say that you can do it, but it may be tricky.

i had to roll my fenderwell and cut some out too just to fit the tires and wheels up in there. it helps, i plan to run 22x10 here soon, but gonna narrow the rear before i do that. If you need a good way to roll your fenders just get a small piece of roundstock, and drive it forward with a friend rollin it on the tire. After that just use a bigger piece of roundstock, go forward and back, and it will roll the inner fender lip inward and upward.
