Just got my 68 home and started cleaning her up a bit.
got the pad cleaned off to read
engine code: V0511TUA
second number: TCJ513873
Need to know what you can tell me about this
partty sure it is a car engine as the alt is on passenger side and so is dipstick
I am guessing a 1975 or newer

v=factory source code 05=month built (may) 11= day built UA=8 cyl 307cid 200hp 9.01 comp ratio 2bc=carb man=trans T= truck (could'nt cj) found V0511UA under 1969 C/10 engine identication.
