700r4

putting a 700r4 in 3/4 ton 2wd burb went to order a crossmember from bowtie overdrives and the guy said the 3/4 ton frame is wider than the 1/2 ton frame - is this true??? has anyone used one of these crossmembers or know of somewhere else to get correct one .

I don't believe so

That would not be conducive to straight up body swap. I do know bodys and mounts are the same so frame should be too. Rear leafs, etc. also interchange. I wish I had one of each to compare.

They are the same in every way,exactly,no doubt,fact.He either doesn`t know what he`s talking about,or there`s a misunderstanding.Same year 1/2 or 3/4t are the same.So are the bodys/mounts.So...
