New Stuff under the Hood...Few Q's
I've slowely been going through the engine of my 71, slowly replacing parts here and there to kind of "bring it up to speed" I just put new plugs, wires, distributor, coil, battery, alternator and a voltage regulator. All of these are now Delco brand. Which I really like, but the plug wires are soooo long. Is there a brand out there that fit better than the Delco's. I'm also wondering how these Delco's compare to say Accel's or MSD's, performance wise. This is where I'm looking for a little feedback.

I'm not sure but I think the originals went under the exhaust manifolds. Did you run them over the valve covers? If you did that is why they are so long.

I did the stupid thing and just hooked em up cause I was in a hurry. Never enough time in a weekend. Is that really how they can plug wires from the factory? Under the exhaust manifolds? The delco ones that I just put on arent that much longer than the ones I took off.
