Seat Spring Repair/replace?

Has anyone had any experience/luck with spring replacement or repair on a stock bench seat? In the middle of working on my seat, and the drivers side spring is so broke and mangled, there is barely a 2 inch piece left. Does anyone make replacement springs, or can I use a stiff piece of foam in its place? This is the spring on the far edge.

Thanks!

shifty has first dibbs. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=153139 Still gotta get those pics. Been working doubles. Dunno about replacements, I have not saw em. would not recommend using foam instead of the spring. Don't think it will hold up long term.

Take next dibs. I have too many other resources at my fingertips to hold up another member and I wasn't able to get the seat of the truck this week as expected.

chickenwing: thanks for holding those for as long as you have. sorry i wasn't able to follow through, it's been a rough past two weeks
