Parting: 71 burb

Pretty complete, but rusty. Has been sitting 22 years. Body is pretty rusty, no hooks,no tilt,no tach. Just a plain jane ochre/white, 2wd, 1/2 ton. White interior. V-8, 3 speed. In northern MN. Let me know what you are looking for and i will price it. Having problems posting pics right now, but will try in the next day or two.

If that thing has the spare tire cover still and its the parchment color like the interior I could use it for my burb. Also need the vents for the rear air if it has it. Thanks, Chuck

mocwon, both kick panel vents look good, anyone know how to pull them out easily??? $25 for pair plus ride IF they come out somewhat easy.
No vent in drivers side pillar.

Thanks, but I'll pass. A buddy of mine gave me the part I needed today. Thanks for the reply though.

Is this a REAL plain jane? or is there any of the aluminum moulding that separates the top and bottom of the burb? If so, I would like to get me some of that.....

NutZ

p.s.--- if anyone knows where I can get ahold of some of this moulding, the original style metal stuff, please let me know...

nutZ, it is a 2 tone, but no molding to seperate the color. I should have another burb coming in this spring that i think has it. However, it ain't mine till its mine...
This burb also has center and rear seat with seatbelts. I think the holddowns are spoken for. Haven't checked condition of the seats close yet. They appear decent but dirty. (parchment) Would like to get $150 per seat with belts, and prefer not to ship those...

kick panel vents are spring loaded so just push the direction of the spring and they'll pop right out.

brewski, NO shoulder belts. I need $400 for all 3 seats and all the belts. However, you will have to find a way to get them or have them picked up. I don't mean to sound rude, but i don't have much time during the week to take care of that stuff. Were you the one looking for a splash pan? May be interested in partial trades also. Eric

I have some interest in the upper rear door.
Pulled the 4 door panels, sunvisors and arm rests today. Metal, white panels, white armrests and visors. $60 plus ship on those pieces. Dirty but should clean up allright. A little surface rust on the third door panel.

The other computer (that does all our pics) is not cooperating right now, and we can't give it up for awhile. So i can't do pics right now. Not even through e-mail. I will try to find someone to help me out. Brewski has first option on the seats...

Would like a tlook at the hatch and lift gate if it has them.

Also looking for Jack and tire changing equipment.

did you mention if it has rear interior panels or not in the cargo/3rd seat area? if so I would like to take a look at those also.

hmmm what else can I think of?

cojnit, no rear panels in it, jack stuff is gone except for the stand and spring that is spot welded in the qtr panel. The jack instructions are still there, but not sure how to get them off without wrecking them. I will keep trying pics but i have interest in the upper hatch.

For $hits & giggles, does it have the chrome carpet/rubbermat holddowns for the cargo area??? If so, how much for both pieces?

The lower tailgate, how bad is that and what kind of $$ are you looking to get out of it? Also, what condition are the wheeltubs/sparetire well in?

I think that's about all I would be interested in right now...

Thanks.
Joe

bagged91,the front chrome strip is still there, but the rear is gone. I will check condition of it tomorrow. The lower tail gate has typical mn rust on the lip and rust through on the outside about 6" long by 1/2" high. It still opens and closes fine. The wheelwells have plenty of rust.
franko72, sorry, no overflow.
Gary 70, white metal door panels in decent condition. Asking $60 for 4 door panels, 2 armrests, and 2 visors with clips. (package deal) plus ship.
Still trying to get pics to work.

Shipping to NJ 08071 on the front interior holddown & the 3rd door sill plate... Also, how is the "ring" that goes around the pushbutton on the tailgate? Is it pitted?

Thanks again!

interested in the clutch/brake pedals and linkage.(rods, z-bar) as long as it is the same as a 70 C-10.
How about the dash pad too?
