Cst ?
What options were standard on the CST pickups? Is a cargo light an option on the CST pickup? Thanks

The cargo lamp was part of the CST package for LATE '69 and later. The cargo lamp wasn't available until late '69.

'68 CST had chrome front bumper and bright work around the grill, chrome ventipanes, CST emblem on door, flull width vinyl seat, matching carpet over floor and fuel tank, bright frames on pedals, bright inserts on control panel knobs, nameplate on glove box door, full depth arm rests, vinyl door panels, right side sun shade, cowl insulation and undercoating.

ckhd, i'm glad you mentioned that, my 69 has no cargo light, and no headliner. Everything else appears correct, but i believe it is an early 69. The date on the cluster is nov. 68.
68350, i believe the lower woodgrain molding was standard also and possibly a tailgate band.

early 69 did in fact come with out the head liner and cargo light, even though the books from late 68 say it should have them. When I discovered Longhorn Jeff's 69 CST/20 Custom Camper longhorn didn't have these two items, I did a poll on here and of the ones without these two items, most were verified to be early 69.
stllookn...does your truck have the carpet over the fuel tank with a bench seat? Never heard of that...only with the bucket seats. The lower trim with wood grain and the wood band on the tail gate...allong with tail light bright work and upper trim on the tail gate were stock on 69 and 70 CST...along with all the stuff stllookn listed. Interesting fact, in 67...and 67 only, bucket seats came with the CST package. |

Andy, I was just listing the items from the '68 truck brochure and was wondering why my Longhorn did not have carpet (just cardboard) on the tank. You explained it better than the Chevy brochure...only with buckets
