Power Brake Help
 Just installed power brake setup Saturday.Need to know where brake pedal is supposed to be positioned and how to adjust it.I know there were posts about this but until search is functioning again I have to ask.Thanks, Dave

I just adjusted mine until it was touching the petal bump stop. Then I adjusted the brake switch.

If you do adjust it to touch the bump stop, it should just barely touch it. If it touches it too hard, the master cylinder will not be able to retract all the way, and pressure will be trapped in your brake lines, and your brakes will drag. My truck was originally equipped with power brakes. It doesn't have a rubber bumper and the pedal is about an inch away from the metal plate that usually has the rubber bumper in it. Your brake lights should come on when the pedal is pressed down about 1/4".
