Another brake booster ?

I have a brake booster and master cylinder from a 91 suburban that i want to put on my 68 along with the front cross member and suspension. The question is can i cut and shorten the mounting brackets to make the rod to the pedal fit, and will i still clear a set of tall valve covers on a 350?

yes to all your questions, I have done the exact same set up. unfortunatly it would be hard for me to send you pics, but I have done it and everything fits well with no clearence issues.the power booster and master cylinder I used is from a 92 suburban. the valve covers I have i bought from Summit with the heartbeat of America logo on the tall valve covers on my 350. the reason I cant send pics is because right now I am reading this from Mexicali Mexico, and the truck is in Charlotte, NC.
