Dash question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I noticed that all the aftermarket and restored guage clusters have a black bezel, my old brute has a red bezel that appears to be 36 years old or so, is this factory, or the result of a demented PO with a spray can?

stock...it's a GMC thing.
