Ever install a B&M "Shift Point Kit"?
Attempting to install a B&M "Shift Point Kit" in my TH-350. Originally, on a hard run thru the gears it would shift at 4500 rpm. Too low for my newly rebuilt engine. Around 5200-5500 would be much better. I know it's a best guess and trial and error on the weight and spring combinations. But, there is no better source of information that someone who has done it before. Looking for suggestions on the best weight and spring combo for my desired rpm. Thanks

It is a trial/error type deal,as driveline speed affects the gov,& different gearing in the rear diff affects driveline speed. I installed a kit in my 400T,4.10 gears & a 4500 shift point didnt work! You will know if too much,my first try had that hydro shifting @ 6500! After 2-3 trys,I had the shiftpoint in the 5400-5500 range(1-2),2-3 is 4900-5000. If you have an adjustable modulator, you can make minor adjustments there after you get close with the gov. Good luck.....69 longhorn.
