in the woods behind my dads place there is a ford truck bed that was turned into a trailer back in the old days. it has a dana 60 rear end in it and the gear ratio is 3.73. i popped it open last summer to see if it may be 4.56 gears that i could use in my truck. i dont know if theres a difference in front to rear or ford and chevy? let me know how to get it out and how much and i could probably do it this weekend.

are you still looking for 456s???? I have a set that we could trade if you wanted... as far as price,,, whatever they are worth to ya and your time taking them out,,,dont know what a used set for a 60 would be worth,,, I sold a set for a 44 on here last year for 30 bucks,,, but like i said whatever you want for them,,,thanks ,,,,Sean

to bad your so far away id let you take them out yourself and have em. if i have time sunday ill head over there and get them out of there. how complicated is it? what do you have for a trade?

dont have much for your year truck,,, is there anything you need,,,my cousin has a bunch of 73-80s,,, as far as getting them out I dont think it is to bad,,,
1st,,, take the pinion nut off and pull the pinion yoke off
2nd ,,, pull both axels out
3rd,,, take the cover off and remove the four carrier bolts and 2 caps,,the just pull the carrier and ring gear out then push the pinion out though the same way,,,

if you can it would be great,,, let me know how you make out,,,thanks alot Sean
