New Project
Here are some pics of a new project truck I picked up.81 3/4 ton 4x4.Found out today it's a 454 with a 4 speed.Needs a little work, but it is very straight except for the right door, and no rust that I have found yet.
Anyway thought I would pass some good pics around.

Thats a tall deck motor for sure that manifold will not fit on a regular big block engine.

most truck blocks are tall decks.........and it could be a tall 454, especially if it came from the factory that way in 81

I'm gonna be using the old ride for it's intended purpose,WORK,so the tall deck engine will do what I need, and that is pull.I bought it because of the 4x4,3/4 ton,and big block. My 1/2 ton 71 2wd just wasn't enough last winter.Plus I would like to have a nice truck to drive,ad one to work out of.
I have all the glass back in it,ad most of the interior located, and bought,so this weeked maybe I can drive it a little.
