Wheel advice wanted
My '70 has a 6-lug bolt pattern, but most of the wheels I find, and like, are five-lug. What are my options, and what is the best way to go?

I would up grade to disc brakes and swap the rear end to 5 lug.Disc brakes stop much better and are easier to service. This will give you more opitions for wheels too

I was planning on switching to disc on the front and drop spindles so that would work well.

all 2wd drive chevy trucks from 71-87 had 5 lug rotors. The rotors and calipers can bue use too.The hard part is finding a rear diff from 71-72 if your truck has rear coils.

My truck will look like that black one but a longbed. I am going to go with the stock ralleys.
Or you could get the new 6 lug Torque Thrust II's. Those look sweet.
