FINALLY! Some progress!!

Man!!! It felt good to FINALLY, after about 2 years! make a little bit of real progress on my truck today. A friend loaned me an engine hoist for a couple of weeks, mainly to put the 250 in there so I can at least drive it but I realized that with the old engine out, now is the perfect time to swap in the disc-brake frontend I found from a '72 longhorn. Except for losing a couple of bolts and a lock washer (oops) everything went great. Helps that another buddy of mine is gorilla strong and was able to hold the frontend in place while I threaded a couple of bolts through.

I still haven't hooked up the steering linkage (need to dig the new power steering box outta storage first) and I'll need to replace the bolts I lost but it finally feels like this thing is underway.
