help!!!!!

well I am going back to Amarillo TX. in one week and I need some help with my bother has an 84 chevy shortwide and he said that it keeps burning his module and I dont know what it could be. Also let me know if you need any thing I have a interior of a 86 chevy dont know what it looks like havent seen it in 2 years

Check For A Loose Module Or A Broke Clip I Read In Another Thread Something About A Bad Or Weak Ciol Cam Burn Up Modules That Is The Best I Can Do. What Color Interior For The 86 I Need Some Of The Plastics, Dash Ahh Hell All Of It And Will Use What I Need Or Want To Replace Lol Let Me Know I Might Buy! Im In Tulsa Ok.

make sure its got good heat transfer grease and is screwed down snug to the hei... and make sure there is not a high voltage condition @ the power hookup, maybe bad alternator or something... also might be a good time to replace the other electronics in there since you keep doing the module... the capacitor and maybe the pickup wouldnt hurt??

well the interior is marron but like I said I havent seen it in two years so I dont know what it looks like but on the module my bro said that he just put his new 383 in it and it has been like a year ago but he has not been able to drive it becouse of that module he put in a new pick up and his coil so I guess I will just have to see when I get there

Also check that he put on the proper ground clips for the coil. Not doing so will fry modules very quickly!
